New CSA in Framingham -- Hanson's Farm

Has anyone tried the Hanson's Farm CSA? Nearby Stearns Farm (see picture) is full with a long waiting list. Stillman's Farm CSA also delivers to Framingham (I have been a member for 8 years and love it!). But demands for community-supported agriculture has grown, and now there is another choice locally. So, did anyone try Hanson's this year and how did it go? For more information on Hanson's: http://www.hansonsfarm.50webs.com/csa.html

  1. Two friends and I bought a CSA from Hanson's Farm. The amount, type and quality of the produce was not what we expected or hoped for. The first 4 weeks were mostly greens like kale and leaf lettuce. Since then there have been several ears of corn, many of which were inedible, weird shaped squash and eggplant, and again Kale. We're starting to get tomatoes and a few peppers but frankly, the amount of produce we have received so far, no matter what it is, is hardly worth what we paid for the CSA.
